3 reasons why you still don't have a six-pack
We all want to be beach-body ready all year round. But sometimes, even when working hard in the gym or at home, we just can’t seem to achieve results and get the desired six-pack.

You do too many sit-ups
Yes, even doing a lot of sit-ups might not be a helpful thing to do. First of all, let us remind you that you can’t get rid of belly fat by over-exercising it. And, while you might be doing the right exercises, you might just be doing them too often and the muscles do not have the time to regenerate.
Make sure you’re not performing the same exercise all the time, do a rotating regime and add planks (front and side), Russian twists and other core blaster combinations to your sit-ups and crunches. And if it isn’t already, make cardio a part of your workout routine.
You don't have the right technique
Take a moment and pay attention to which muscles feel engaged while performing an exercise. For example, when doing crunches, make sure that you do not drop your chin to your chest and raise your hips off the floor. With planks, your body should form a straight line from your shoulders to your hips and further to your ankles.
Ask a personal trainer to check your technique or check online workouts for a detailed explanation. Whichever exercise you perform, be mindful of your technique.
