With thousands of satisfied PowGen customers and years of feedback, we have prepared some basic hacks that will hopefully benefit you!

1. Plan your meals

Planning for and preparing your meals is key. It is the best way to keep track of what you need to buy and to keep tabs on your portions. It is best to prepare all your meals in advance, including snacks. This doesn't only ensure you eat what you have planned, but also reduces food waste and resorting to unhealthy food when hunger strikes (more on late-night craving later!).

2. Ingredient swaps

Small changes matter. You can, for example, start eating quinoa or cauliflower rice instead of couscous, replace mayo with hummus, ditch sour cream for Greek yoghurt, buy brown rice instead of white rice… the list is endless, just take some time for an inventory check and start making changes still today.

3. Keep hydrated

A glass of water (or even better two) will boost your metabolism and help you kick start your day. A rule of thumb is that men should drink about 3,7 litres of water and women roughly 2,7 litres a day when active of course a lot more.

4. Go crazy with vegetables

You can eat as many veggies as you like. Be it in their raw form or as a veggie juice, choices are unlimited. Add superfoods like beets, sweet potatoes or kale for an extra boost and enjoy a vitamin-filled day.

5. Spice things up

To add flavour to your food as well as to improve your mood, always add a pinch of spices! Whether it be curcumin, rosemary, chilli powder, ginger powder, cumin or peppermint, they are bound to make a difference as they have both nutritional value and some amazing antioxidant characteristics and cognitive boost properties.

Speaking of power ingredients…

Garcinia cambogia

Garcinia cambogia is a plant native to Indonesia that bears a sour-tasting pumpkin-shaped fruit. The rind of the fruit contains high amounts of a compound, hydroxycitric acid (HCA), an active substance that has been shown to have weight-loss properties. HCA prevents fat storage and helps keep cravings and hunger at bay.

PowGen has tapped into Garcinia’s potential and developed a supplement - Food Buster - that contains an extract with 60% hydroxycitric acid, making it a premium-quality product that already over 175,000 customers from across Europe are satisfied with.

What’s more, in addition to Garcinia, we have added chromium to the mix to help stabilise blood sugar levels, and vitamin C to keep your immunity on a high level and boost your energy.
